Who is a Good Astrologer ?

April 25, 2013

The prime objective of this website is to clear the smoke and fog around Indian astrology ,which survives from the days of Mahabharata and Ramayana with a documented legacy of 4000 years. Nowhere in the world , we have such old uninterrupted research work in the field of astrology like our country  . So, all other astrological systems practiced abroad , can be finally traced to Indian system.

Indian astrology suffers most in its birthplace India ,while it is revered abroad. There are many reasons ,some of which I narrated in my write-up "Sky High Expectations from Astrology ".

But I have noticed that many in new generation ,are willing to give it time and energy to understand it rather than debunking it ,without even giving an hour to it. So,the things are changing slowly , but we have millions of convent educated young people ,who scoff merely at the word "Astrology or Prediction ". It was my destiny that I was always confronted by this class ,which was corporate manager like me or superior to me in hierarchy. Irony was that , after marathon discussions and proofs on astrology's utility, these very persons became overly interested in knowing their future. Some of articles posted in my blog and website are results of this interaction only.

But I still keep on encountering such non-believers of astrology and I am too, more interested in them than the simple believers of astrology . These non-believers have simply not studied even a word of astrology but they can denounce it in 1000 words. Recently , I wrote an email to a Delhi based publishing agent for his fees to edit my soon to be published book on Astrology. I was surprised that without even asking for its content, he bluntly wrote that he would not take up the job as he had horrible experience with Astrology. It is like ,if my kin dies because of allopathy treatment , I start hating allopathy ,without understanding the actual reasons of wrong consultations.

In my previous post , I wrote about fulfilling of a prediction ,where I had predicted repetition of similar breaking news after 4 months. The tragedy with  astrologer are many like :

  • If you predict good event , nobody bothers , because it is always expected. So, every astrologer gets his share of name and fame only by bad predictions , which circulate like wild fire. In 2002, I personally experienced it within my family ,when I was professionally challenged to come up with an accurate , time bound prediction with great impact. I did not like to predict a bad event ( of a death ,which I had calculated already ) but I was forced to predict it ,because astrology asks its practitioners to do it for the sake of its prestige.
  • And by God's grace ,it was fulfilled and it not only ended forever  all mud-slinging, debates and non-believing about astrology and astrologers , it also confirmed my status as a good astrologer within my relations , with no more doubts or questions, rather overbelief started. But,even in that prediction , a few persons raised an objection : why you predicted a bad event , it is against social etiquettes and so on...
  • So, as an astrologer , if you predict good event , it is least important, if you predict a very bad event but socially it may be bad and if you do not predict , you are fraud astrologer !!! No profession suffers such situations like an astrologer's.

Coming back to my recent prediction for repeat of 16th December 2012 like event during 13 April -31st May 2013, I received a similar response when a gentleman asked me why I predicted such bad event and then If I did , I should have averted it .

So, if your prediction is wrong ,you are a bad astrologer . But if you are right , then you should also stop it happening . And if you could do that also , then they will again say , it did not happen so you are a bad astrologer ....

So let me know what is the right option for a good astrologer ?
